So far I like this mug. Would be nice, if the mug itself would be dishwasher safe too. Main advantages for me are ceramic coating inside and disassemblable lid.

When it’s working it’s quite nice, but when I’ve opened and closed it a few times each day, it sticks in the open position and I have to take the lid apart and reassemble it. At first I thought I had not put it together properly, but after very careful assembly it continues to happen - every time I use it. It’s very inconvenient. The leak proof lid was the reason I chose this cup, despite the cost, so it’s extremely disappointing.

The pop-top to open the mug is very loud, making it embarrassing to open the mug in room full of people (classroom, meeting room, etc.). Also the exterior material is very slippery and I often feel like the mug is going to slip out of my hands or out of the pocket on my backpack - a little silicone band might be helpful. Otherwise it's an excellent mug.

love this cup for drinking puerh on the go - admittedly mostly cha gao but it doesnt change the flavour at all, and i love the sippable lid, it really does feel like im drinking from a mug. one small thing is when ive just filled the cup and put the lid on, if i tilt it to the side when its closed some hot tea comes out around the lid join. it's just a couple of drops so no big deal but it is a little annoying. that, and a few times ive accidentally put the cup in the side pocket of my bag while it was still open, so i wish the open/closed line stood out more (although this may just be an adhd issue, lol) however, these are both very minor gripes with a product i really like otherwise!

This is the best coffee tumbler I've ever had. My metal in my other cups was ruining the taste of coffee for me. The ceramic in this cup fixed that problem 100%. The lid is awesome and my drinks stay warm FOREVER. I just wish I had one for every day of the week.

Super excited to get this BRU ceramic mug as a Xmas present. Coffee tastes so much better from ceramic and the inovative lid allows you to smell the aroma, heightening the coffee drinking experience. It also helps massively with my strategy of avoiding micro plastic ingestion from disposable coffee vendors. Only down side is I left my BRU mug at work and soomebody else seems to have appreciated it too - by stealing it. Goes to show its a good product - other travel mugs have made it to lost property.

This is a great cup - it looks and feels really good. Exactly what I wanted. Coffee stays really warm for hours, and it's easy to drink out of, and doesn't seem to leak at all - very happy!!

Good quality mug. I like everything about it from the sealing mechanism, to the ceramic inner lining, to the way it keeps my drink hot for at least 5 hours (it's still warm after 6). The branding is subtle and I like the finish of the mug. Maybe they can start selling a protective bag or sleeve to go with it.

The quality is decent, but the product doesn't really help retain the heat from the drinks for a long period. This product could be better if it used insulation in between the outer and inner shells, as well as some additional protection from outer shell similar to Yeti travel mugs, but retaining the ceramic coating or maybe even better, making the interior completely ceramic based.

Do be careful not to burn your lips like I did though as I drank it very shortly after making it.

The lid is terrible, when filled with coffee the button is extremely difficult to push and if you drank from it then close and open it again it splashes coffee on you. The lid keeps residual coffee in it so if you close it and tip the mug whatever coffee was left in the lid spills out. Awful lid design which is most of what you interact with. Overall not happy with the mug at all, there are 100 other mug companies that make the same thing only better.

I love it as it's just what I wanted for work. I do struggle a bit with the taking the lid apart and putting it back together even though it comes with instructions but I think that's just me. Otherwise very happy.

Still has a terrible residual smell even after deep cleaning. Cleaning is extremely difficult as there are 3 silicone rings you have to remove which is difficult to do. Scratches easily, overall bad product design and use.

Mug itself is great. Totally leak proof, keeps temperature for hours, love the lid and that it comes apart. Only complaint is that the paint on the rim is already flaking/chipping off.
I baby this thing, only gently hand washing it and slowly tightening the lid on. It does not affect the functionality of the cup, but rather shows the quality control of the paint process.

I bought this in spring and then it promptly got a bit too hot for me to want tea, so I hadn’t really used it until now. But I’ve now used it every day for a week and so far it’s been amazing! I can’t stand the taste of black tea with milk from a stainless steel mug, and I need something leakproof for work (plus it’s just practical), and Bru actually fits the bill, unlike so many travel mugs that seem to tell you that you can only have some, but not all of the logical features a travel mug should have. My only qualms are that the lid mechanism is a little noisy when you pop it in and out, and that I wish it could hold more while being smaller - but that last one’s got no good solution unless The Doctor starts working for Bru. I also wish I’d gone for the mix and match colours on the components instead of a solid colour, but that’s my own fault. I’m planning to decorate it some other way in future.

When the lid is on, there's a little "ring" that's formed between the top of the cup and the base of the lid. It's not a perfect ring, which suggests that the lid isn't a proper circle shape. It's very subtle, but something I noticed.
With that said, my first impression of the bottle was that it was well built, convenient and stylish. With the exception of the ring situation, it's a wonderful purchase so far. Thank you.

Very happy with my Bru cup. No more metallic smells when sipping my coffee. My coffee stay hot for ages. I really like that you can drink from any angle. Press down mechanism to open lid could perhaps be quieter. Feels like a quality piece of kit.

I love the Bru! I just wish it didn’t have the gap around the pop top. The pop top sits loose inside and it makes this quality product seem inexpensive.
I also don’t like the gap because i spend a lot of time outdoors and every time i go to take a drink i am very paranoid a bug is inside and waiting to attack my lip! lol. In all seriousness, it is almost perfect.
Another thing to note, is it possible to ceramic coat all the internals of the top? It’s weird to me to have the top plastic when the rest is coated so nicely.
Again I love it, I use it daily, just seems like some slight changes could make this the ultimate coffee tumbler hands down and worth any price you would like to charge!

I'm sure it's great for some people but I hate it. Seems quality, but I won't be using it again. Assembling it wasn't an issue, but I have some thumb OA and unscrewing the mechanism was too painful and difficult for me. Terrible smell after one use which seems mostly gone after cleaning it twice. It had coffee in it for less than 2 hours before cleaning. Returning it or gifting it to someone else.
